Biography

Shirl Don LeBaron is an American Fork City Councilman. He is also an Attorney practicing general civil and criminal defense law in American Fork with an emphasis in personal injury and family law. For a healthy diversion, Shirl coaches an 8th grade American Fork AAU boys basketball team named "Scorch", year round. He has also served two terms as Vice Chair of Republican Leg. District 27 and currently serves on the Utah County Republican Party Bylaws and Consitution committee, the Utah League of Cities and Towns Legislative Policy Committee and AF Precinct 7 Chair of the Republican Party. Shirl is a Past President of the Rotary Club of American Fork and volunteers as a Small Claims Judge for comic relief. Shirl enjoys spending time with his wife Allison, a Master's Degree graduate from BYU as a Family Nurse Practitioner and his family. They have 4 children, a daughter in law and a miniature red poodle named Socrates.

Interests

Shirl enjoys golfing, boating and traveling with his family. He likes reading civil war history and biographies. Shirl is also involved in the American Fork Rotary Club, church and scouting matters. He enjoys a good movie at times. His all time 5 favorite movies (not necessarily in order and edited if needed): 1. Star Wars trilogy (treated as one movie) 2. Raiders of the Lost Ark 3. Rocky (first and only one) 4. Saving Private Ryan 5. Schindlers List, others....Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Silverado, Hunt for Red October, Lord of the Rings (all) and Braveheart.
