The Council was informed yesterday by staff that the signs ordered for placement based on the new parking ordinance in the vicinity of the AFHS will not be ready until around September 15th. It will then take approximately three (3) days for staff to install the signs. Enforcement will not begin until about September 20.
A letter will be mailed today to people who live on a street designated as "permit parking only" so they are aware of this new time frame. Hopefully a letter will also be sent to school officials.
