The American Fork City Council Candidates Debate will be held Thursday October 27, 2011 from 6:30 to 9:00pm at the American Fork Senior Center, 54 East Main Street, American Fork, Utah with parking in front of and behind the Library.
The event is sponsored by the American Fork Youth City Council. The Moderator will be Tamara McMurray an AP Government teacher at American Fork High School and American Fork City citizen.
The six (6) candidates for three (3) four-year terms are Marc Ellison, Brad Frost, Robert Shelton, Ricky K. Storrs*, Clark Taylor and Scott Twitchell. (*incumbent) The event format will include a brief "Meet and Greet" at 6:30p, The Formal Debate will be at 7p (with questions submitted beforehand by the Youth Council, Public and the Moderator). Individual Q. and A. following the debate from 8:30 to 9pm.
The General Election is Tuesday November 8. Early voting begins Tuesday October 25 through Friday November 4.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the debate.

Do you know if questions can be submitted at the debate? Or do they have to be submitted in advance of the debate?
